I fell in love with hair and this industry at a very young age. I always dreamed of being a hairstylist and having the opportunity to help make my clients look and feel their very best. I believe there is a tremendous amount of trust involved in working with someone's hair, which is not something I take lightly. Cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and being apart of personal transformations is what drives me.

I began my journey in the hair industry in 2009, while attending Paul Mitchell the School, in Costa Mesa. While in school, I had the opportunity to learn from many of Paul Mitchell’s top Advanced Academy Leaders. I have been trained in Paul Mitchell Systems, Schwartzkopf Professional, Oribe Hair Care, as well as many other lines. I was the cutting specialist for Paul Mitchell the school in Little Rock, Arkansas and Santa Barbara, CA for over 5 years. I’m beyond grateful that I was able to share my passion and knowledge with hundreds of students that shared my dream. My passion and love for my career has brought me to this very moment, where I own my own salon. I have the privilege of creating beautiful hair, alongside women I love and respect that are talented, compassionate, and trend forward stylists.

With our unique individual styles, commitment to the industry, and excitement for our craft; we have created a space to make magic happen.

Aside from doing hair, I love cooking, spending time with my family and friends, and being adventurous outdoors.

I've always had a fascination with the beauty industry. Whether it was sneaking away to cut my bangs as a little girl or helping my friends get ready for our show choir competitions, I've always had my mind on hair!

As a young stylist, I find that there is always something new to learn and that is what I love about this job! I strive to have my clients on trend while still keeping their looks timeless. I love building relationships with everyone that sits in my chair and enhancing their natural beauty.

Other than obsessing over hair, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going dancing, listening to all kinds of music and taking my pup, Randall, to the dog park!

I have been in the industry for almost 10 years, and come with an approach to hair that incorporates creativity, collaboration, and ease. My biggest love of hair comes from working with clients to give them looks that enhance their own assets and attributes, as well as giving them a relaxing and enjoyable Soncy experience. I have also been fortunate enough to receive training from industry greats such as Orlando Pita, Kien Hoang, and Ronnie Stam; and am well-versed in Wella, Schwartzkopf, and Oribe. A true "hair nerd", my favorite part is the blow dry - I love the freedom and the artistry that styling brings. Getting to work with some of my favorite hairdressers every day inspires and motivates me, not only professionally, but personally.

I also love laughing, Game of Thrones, Laker basketball, Oribe's Thick texture spray, and riding my bike to the beach.

I have been a hairstylist for roughly 13 years and I could not be happier to call this my profession. I love my job mainly because I get to make every person that sits in my chair look and feel their very best. Everything from the consultation to the finishing touches I feel is very important. We can decide together what you want and what will look the best, while always focusing on maintaining the integrity of your hair. I have been lucky enough to have training from Paul Mitchell, Vidal Sassoon, 901, Habit Salon Online Education, Redken, Schwartzkopf Professional and many others. I love education because I believe keeping up on the latest trends in this industry is a must. I have worked in the Seal Beach area for 4 years and the Laguna Beach area for 10 plus years specializing in coloring, cutting and keratin treatments. I love working in two locations because I feel I not only learn from the talented women I work with, I also learn from clients I have in each location.

Aside from doing hair some of the things I love are date nights with my husband, girls nights with my best friends, my maltipoo Jax, family time, cooking delicious meals, an elaborate charcuterie with lots of wine and traveling to new places.

I see hair as an art form and I remember my first experience seeing a platform artist at work on stage. At that moment it sparked my interest in the beauty industry. I love creating something from nothing. Enhancing the appearance of my clients whether it's a simple haircut, make-up, or creative color, I see each client as a blank canvas for me to paint and create. I pride myself on always being current with what’s happening in trend, fashion, hair, and make-up. I do this by attending educational classes and conventions as much as I can. I am extension certified in six methods, and I continued my cutting and coloring education with Toni and Guy.  "I believe the day we stop learning is the day we stop growing". I also enjoy offering make-up to my clients to complete their look. I still get excited every time my client and I collaborate on a look that is complimentary to their personal style and needs. I stay connected to fashion and Hollywood by continuing my work as a freelance artist on photo shoots, red carpet, HBO, and television. By request my services are always available for on location.

With all that said most of all I am a passionate artist awaiting my next canvas and looking forward to being inspired by each client I encounter and hopes to create my next piece of art.

I am originally from the Bay Area and have been living and doing hair down here for 13 years now. I love being in the hair industry because styles are constantly changing and so there is no room for boredom. For that reason, I stay on top of the latest trends and can do short, chic, sleek styles or beachy, tousled, lived in hair on my clients. I believe that every person is unique in their own way so in order to give my clients a style that will complement their face, I always take bone structure and skin tone into consideration before starting a service. Lately, I’ve been very inspired by the razored “french bob” haircut that is in style at the moment as for color I love the vivid color trend that’s in! Another thing that I love about being a hairstylist is getting to know and connecting with my clients and working together to achieve the look that they want.

I am an artist by nature and always look for color and texture for inspiration on the daily. I love all forms of art, architecture, and traveling as those things help to broaden the creative eye.

Growing up I have always been driven towards the beauty industry. I like to apply a down-to-earth approach to enhance each individual with their personal style through cut, color, and hair styling. I have a true passion for the art of hairstyling and I love creating looks from natural sun kissed color using balayage techniques to vivid and vibrant color trends. I’m all about lightening my impact on the earth using organic color line Davines which utilizes natural oils and quinoa protein to produce the healthiest, richest color imaginable. I love incorporating natural texture to create customized haircuts and updo styling. I have created looks for music videos, print campaigns, commercials, and continue to grow working with talented photographers, and stylists along the way. Travel and art influence my approach and talent as a stylist and makeup artist.
